Military veterans tired of applying for jobs can find a number of opportunities in the franchise industry, Adam Stone writes. An IFA study reported that more than 64,000 veterans, military spouses and wounded warriors found employment opportunities within the franchise industry in 2011, and franchisors recruited 4,314 new veteran franchisees that year. The IFA's VetFran program also offers financial incentives to honorably discharged veterans for more than 400 franchise companies.
