Lithuania will wait for its parliament to toughen environmental policies before it signs a shale natural gas drilling deal with Chevron, Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevicius said. "Hopefully in early May we can start getting ready for actual exploration," he said. Chevron acquired 50% of LL Investicijos last year and filed the only bid in a shale exploration tender in Lithuania in January.
