LyondellBasell Industries announced U.S. petrochemical projects including a $430 million ethylene capacity expansion in Texas, a $200 million polyethylene plant and another $200 million for a natural gas liquids facility. "The availability of abundant supplies of natural gas and natural gas liquids from shale deposits is creating a tremendous advantage for U.S. manufacturers, and LyondellBasell is well positioned to seize this opportunity at our Gulf Coast and Midwest facilities," CEO James Gallogly said.
