Nielsen surveyed more than 2,500 U.S. consumers and found that owners of game consoles streamed video 22% of the time they spent on the systems in 2012. That compares with 19% devoted to VOD streaming in 2011 and 13% in the year prior to that, the market research firm reported. PlayStation 3 owners devoted one-quarter of their time on the system last year to watching VOD, up from the 2011 figure of 15%.
