The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has levied about $70,000 in fines against F&G Sons Contractors in Paterson, N.J., for violating fall-protection standards and not taking safety measures on scaffolding work. The agency started to investigate the company when it received an "imminent danger complaint" in 2012. The company was cited with five repeat violations, which included lack of fall-protection equipment and unsecured scaffolding.
