NASA's budget for 2013 will be $16.65 billion, $1.2 billion less than a year earlier, and the space agency has warned that missions and project development will be delayed or canceled as a result. Projects involving radiation protection, deep-space communication and facilities upgrades related to a possible Mars mission are at risk of being cut, said NASA Administrator Charles Bolden.
