Republican governors, including some whose states rank high among the highest in uninsured residents, are leading a fight against Medicaid expansion with political motives and flimsy reasoning, according to this editorial. If the federal government goes back on its promise to support coverage, states can drop it. More than 5 million could be denied health coverage, and the poor, hospitals and even state's fiscal health will suffer.
