Microsoft has enlisted TargetSpot to provide ad support for its Xbox Music streaming service, which runs on Windows RT tablets and PCs, Windows 8 tablets and smartphones, as well as Xbox 360 gaming consoles. Xbox Music is available in a paid-subscription model as well as a free version, which will now have a monetization model of its own. TargetSpot also works with Last.fm, CBS Radio, Yahoo! Music and AOL Radio.
