Thousands of students in Minnesota affected by online testing glitches on Tuesday were expected to resume testing today. About 15,000 students attempted to access online exams, but just 9,000 were able to complete the standardized tests because of "slowdowns" experienced by American Institutes for Research, the contractor that administers the tests. Robert Schaeffer, spokesman for the National Center for Fair and Open Testing, said such problems are common when online exams are administered on a large scale.
