Several Major League Baseball teams are working to boost online chatter by offering dedicated social media suites at their ballparks to gather social media-savvy fans, who must apply for a spot. The Cleveland Indians and Miami Marlins already have such a suite, and the San Francisco Giants will open a similar venue in May. "The idea was to build a lounge inside the park that would host all of our social media chatter in one place, allowing fans to see it in real time throughout the game," said the Giants' director of social media, Bryan Srabian.
