A report from the American Public Transportation Association found that more than 66,200 public transport buses in the U.S. now run on cleaner-burning fuels such as propane autogas and natural gas. That means more than one-third of the country's city buses now run on alternative fuels. "You get people riding these buses, and they're like, 'Wow, I'm riding a propane bus,' " said Todd Mouw, Roush CleanTech's vice president of sales and marketing.
