Pennsylvania has collected $400 million over the past two years from impact fees for drilling in the Marcellus Shale play, according to data from the office of Gov. Tom Corbett. "These funds, in addition to the hundreds of millions in natural gas-related tax revenue, are ensuring that critical projects and investments will continue across the state, regardless of where natural gas production occurs," said Kathryn Klaber, CEO of the Marcellus Shale Coalition.
