The International Integrated Reporting Council has issued a consultation draft of its International Integrated Reporting Framework. The framework is meant to provide a reporting model for businesses to communicate how they create value over time. The IIRC is inviting comment from stakeholders. Features in the framework touch on subjects including capital, business models, value creation, future orientation, organizational overview, performance and outlook.
The Committee of Sponsoring Organizations for the Treadway Commission will release its integrated framework for internal controls in operations, compliance and financial reporting May 14, along with a supplemental guidance. It will be the culmination of a 2½-year effort to update the original framework from 1992.
