Clients who expect to receive health care benefits from former employers in retirement should establish a contingency plan in case that coverage changes, experts say, because more companies and governments are trying to reduce their obligations to retirees. "Building a contingency [for the possible loss of retiree health care benefits] is an important part of any plan," says Brian Fenstermaker, an adviser with Envision Consulting Group.
