Tracy Bastian, an instructor at South Dakota's Hot Springs Municipal Airport says he has been giving flying lessons since 1991. The airport also has a new hangar with all of the space leased, and there have been discussions about another hangar being built to house gliders and a tow plane. "We have ideal conditions here for gliders," said Denny Lewis, a member of the Hot Springs Airport advisory board, "what with the warm thermals coming off the prairie up into the hills."
