No measure will be spared to stimulate South Korea's economy, Finance Minister Hyun Oh-seok told foreign correspondents in Seoul. "In order to create more jobs and boost the economy, the government will mobilize all options, including fiscal and monetary measures and deregulation," Hyun said. The government of President Park Geun-hye is working on a supplementary budget amounting to as much as 17 trillion won.
