Storify is looking into monetization with a premium service and considering a push into advertising, co-founder Burt Herman says. The search for a business model comes even as Silicon Valley shifts its focus to quicker monetization, which is necessary "unless you have massive, massive scale," Herman says. Noting Storify's 600,000 users, Herman says that when "we look at that, we say, 'OK, let's figure out how we can make this more sustainable and work with them and hopefully help give them some of the things they want. But also make sure we can survive into the future.' "
