Advertising that includes value messaging is more likely to lead to an increase in traffic to quickservice restaurants, according to a study by Phoenix Marketing International. After testing viewer responses to several advertisements from QSR franchises including Subway, McDonald's and Wendy's, the firm noted half of viewers were interested in visiting the restaurants after seeing an ad with value messaging, as opposed to 31% who had a similar response after an ad that didn't include value messaging.
