Business owners most often think of hacking incidents that involve stolen customer credit-card data or online bank account break-ins, but social media is increasingly spawning another kind of hacking that can be just as detrimental to a restaurant's reputation, Brad Cyprus writes. Hackers recently took over Burger King's Twitter account and blamed it on McDonald's. "It would be in your best interest to manage your online accounts with the same diligence that you show your credit card or bank data," he writes.
