A recent Association of Professional Flight Attendants poll showed that 83% of voters do not approve of a policy to let some small knives on airplanes. "These numbers confirm that the American people have the same common sense approach to aviation security that flight attendants, pilots, air marshals, airline management, and even TSA screeners share," said Laura Glading, APFA president. "I hope [Homeland Security] Secretary [Janet] Napolitano and [TSA] Administrator [John] Pistole will consider this data and vacate their decision to allow knives on planes once and for all."
