Diet Coke has launched a T-shirt design contest in collaboration with Taylor Swift. Diet Coke and Target representatives, as well as fashion designer Rebecca Minkoff, will choose the 10 finalists, and on online vote will determine the winner of $10,000 and a trip to meet Swift on her U.S. Red Tour.
Marley Beverages is using 12-ounce SLEEK cans from Rexam for its One Drop iced coffee, previously sold in 9.5-ounce glass bottles. "We wanted to showcase the premium look of our Marley's One Drop line and help it stand out on the shelf," said marketing director Lee Brody. "We were able to achieve both in a very powerful way with the Rexam SLEEK can."
Market research firm MarketsandMarkets predicts sugar substitutes will command $13.8 billion in sales by 2018, up from $10.5 billion in 2012. North America, currently responsible for 49% of sugar substitute sales, is expected to see market growth of 3.9% a year, the researcher said.
