The American Chemistry Council was among the sponsors of a New York policy forum that highlighted the state's potential job boom from shale natural gas opportunities.
"New York's supply of natural gas from shale has the potential to create tens of thousands of high-paying manufacturing jobs, provide a competitive advantage for industry, and generate much needed tax revenues for New York state," said Roger Bernstein, vice president of state affairs for ACC.
