Banks are poised to offer more incentives to consumers to revive a waning excitement about online banking, experts say. Among the incentives are services such as same-day payments and better alerts when bills have not been paid, they say. Matt Lehman of KeyCorp says the bank reminds customers about online banking when they visit a branch or call customer service. "I say, 'Trying it is the hard part. Once you've tried it, it's difficult to ever go back,' " he said.
