A British university student has designed a prosthesis with a cover that users can change to fit a variety of situations and mood. The removable casing has a quick-release mechanism, and users can change the covers without having to bend down. "The beauty of the product is that it allows people to wear a variety of colors, patterns and textures to suit an occasion, their personality or how they feel on the day," said designer Jonathan Bradshaw, who was inspired by a friend who lost a limb.
