The Transportation Department has found travel agency JTB USA in violation of its rules on disclosing airlines' code-share agreements and has imposed a fine of $60,000. The agency reported that reservation agents at JTB USA "completely failed to make the required disclosure regarding codeshare arrangements ... even when prompted by the caller," during test calls to the travel agency at the beginning of the year.
