U.S. ethanol output dropped to 863,000 barrels per day last week, down 1.4% from the week before, according to the Energy Information Administration. Ethanol supplies fell 0.8% to 16 million barrels, the lowest in 31 months, the EIA said. Imports of the biofuel reached 27,000 barrels per day last week, the first time foreign ethanol was shipped to the U.S. since April 19, the agency said.
