The Environmental Protection Agency is proposing several enhancements to the Renewable Fuel Standard, including new pathways for advanced biofuels. The proposed measures also feature revisions to the E15 misfueling mitigation rule and clarifications to the definition of crop residue. "This proposed rulemaking package is essentially a collection of 'housekeeping amendments' that will address several odds and ends that needed to be addressed in the regulatory text," said Bob Dinneen, president and CEO of the Renewable Fuels Association.
