A 77-year-old Minnesota woman, the first Sanford Health patient given a fecal transplant to treat recurrent Clostridium difficile infection, says she has had four months of peace since having the procedure. While most fecal transplant patients get donated stool from a relative or friend, for those who do not have that option, Emory University medical resident Dr. Hunter Johnson has been donating his stool samples for the procedure.
