The federal government and the energy industry have finalized an unannounced test deployment of Helix Well Containment Group's oil spill response equipment. The capping stack fulfilled pressurization standards, said James Watson, director of the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement. "BSEE, the U.S. Coast Guard, Louisiana Offshore Coordinator's Office, and Noble Energy brought unique perspectives together in a Unified Command structure to achieve a shared goal," said John Lewis, Noble Energy's senior vice president.
