Travelers on the USA TODAY Road Warriors panel examined airport signage at various hubs and found that many signs confuse fliers. In addition to complaints about airports in Columbus, Ohio, and in Houston, one panel member says Miami is another trouble zone. "The signage within Miami airport is so poor that I often find myself deciding to fly to Fort Lauderdale and drive the hour-plus south just to avoid that airport," said Don Yaeger, a speaker and author in Tallahassee, Fla.
A new art installation at Gatwick Airport pays homage to Queen Elizabeth II. "The People’s Monarch" was created by British artist Helen Marshall, and is composed of a photo mosaic of people from the surrounding area. The two pieces of art show the queen at the time of her coronation and at her Diamond Jubilee.
