Google has added support for Bluetooth's Smart Ready platform, the company announced at its developers conference on Wednesday, a move that could prompt software writers to produce more Android applications for Bluetooth-enabled devices. The move may also provide a boost for Bluetooth's plans to connect its radio technology with other devices, the so-called "Internet of Things."
