The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform is demanding that Commodity Futures Trading Commission Chairman Gary Gensler turn over all CFTC-related e-mails sent or received through his nonofficial e-mail accounts. The committee wants correspondence going back to Jan. 1, 2009. The interest by House Republicans was prompted by an inspector general's report that Gensler used his personal e-mail to discuss MF Global.
