Senators will question Apple CEO Tim Cook today about his company avoiding billions of dollars in U.S. taxes over four years. Apple likely didn't break the law, but instead funneled its earnings through a complex network of subsidiaries, some designed to avoid having to pay taxes to any country. "Apple wasn't satisfied with shifting its profits to a low-tax, offshore tax haven. Apple sought the Holy Grail of tax avoidance," said Sen. Carl Levin, D-Mich.
