School leaders with the best of intentions may unintentionally make their staff less productive or fail to become leaders themselves because they do too much or are too optimistic, author and leadership expert Liz Wiseman writes in this blog post. Wiseman outlines three actions leaders sometimes take that can lead to a "diminishing impact" and offers alternatives to bring out the best in others.
