The faux-meat industry is starting to pitch its products not just to vegans and vegetarians, but also to "flexitarians" -- people who are happy to eat meat, but not too much of it. That's a steppingstone to making faux meat a mainstream product rather than something carnivores turn their noses up at, says Ethan Brown, the CEO of meat-alternative startup Beyond Meat.
