If you want to attract positive attention for the work you do, start by paying attention to the feedback you receive, writes Katie Douthwaite. "As you continue to improve, your boss will be impressed that you've put that feedback to good use -- and will realize that he or she doesn't have to worry about proofreading your work or putting you in front of a big meeting anymore," she writes. Also, provide excellent customer service, and come up with a plan to put your ideas into action.
