Video is the answer to capturing and keeping students' attention, say math specialist Dotty Corbiere and Rushton Hurley, founder of the nonprofit organization Next Vista for Learning and a former high-school teacher and principal. Among their favorite uses of video in the classroom are the Stop-Action Movies to teach the digestive system and poetry, as well as video technology to film students explaining a concept in 90 seconds.
