Owning an Android phone is the mobile equivalent of walking around with a bull's-eye on your back, according to security researchers from Kaspersky Lab, who said that nearly every single new piece of malware they discovered so far this year has been designed to target the Google-owned platform. Kaspersky reported that in just three months, it has already discovered half the number of new malware variants that it did in all of last year, and 99.9% of the new bugs -- most of them trojan viruses -- are gunning for Android devices.
