Verizon Wireless has lost its MetroPCS partner in challenging the Net neutrality rules promulgated by the Federal Communications Commission. MetroPCS, now operating as T-Mobile US, has dropped the case that its new division began in December 2010, saying the carrier is acting in accordance with the parent company's position on the matter. Verizon has shown no signs of abandoning the suit, which argues that the FCC lacks jurisdiction in the area.
