Mondelez International has handed Halls creative work in Europe to Wieden+Kennedy, replacing JWT London, which was told it would lose the rest of its Halls duties by the end of the year. JWT then resigned the rest of the global business on that account, with CEO Bob Jeffrey calling the brand "a client that has not given us due respect" in a staff memo. Rupal Parekh and E.J. Schultz write, "It's the latest indicator of the expanding divide between the marketer and agency, and spells the end of JWT's 40-year relationship with Cadbury brands, which joined the Mondelez portfolio back in 2009."
