Investing in the U.S.'s cybersecurity is as much of a priority for the armed forces as maintaining an adequate nuclear arsenal is, says Adm. Jonathan Greenert, chief of naval operations. Greenert ranks protecting domestic computer networks among the top two most-vital defense programs, noting that the Navy's dependence on satellites for communications, weather and missile-guidance systems makes it particularly vulnerable to potential hacking scenarios.
