Plastic surgeon Jennifer Walden's staff received permission from a patient to describe on social media the patient's liposuction, face lift and blepharoplasty. Staff used Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Vine to update the public on the operation. "I think it's pretty important that we as a specialty embrace social media and use some of these avenues to reach patients and provide quality education about the procedures, about the anesthesia, about the safety of the facilities," Walden said.
