A Statoil well near the Grane field in the North Sea has struck up to 33 million barrels of recoverable oil, the company said. "We are pleased with having proven new very high value resources in the Grane area," said Tore Loseth, Statoil vice president for exploration in the North Sea. The company and its partners are now finishing drilling activities at the site.
