A chaotic home environment was associated with poor glycemic control in children with type 1 diabetes, a study presented at the Pediatric Endocrine Society annual meeting indicated. Researchers studied 105 patients ages 1 to 13 and found those who scored higher on a chaos scale at baseline had A1C rates of 9.63% six months later, compared with 8.45% among those with lower scores.
