Syntermed has received FDA 510(k) clearance for its Emory Cardiac Toolbox version 4.0. The nuclear cardiac software is capable of acquiring data wirelessly from electrocardiogram-gated myocardial perfusion SPECT studies for automatic reconstruction and conversion into quantitative parameters. The software also forwards data to a decision-support system. The clearance also covers the measurement of coronary flow reserve and myocardial blood flow.
