Twitter has triumphed in its legal battle against TweetAdder, a marketing company Twitter had accused of spamming its users. Under the terms of a settlement, TweetAdder and its employees agree not to use or to develop tools for use with Twitter, and would incur stiff fines should they do so. "Twitter is committed to aggressively protecting its users from spam, and we use all tools at our disposal to shut down spammers," a Twitter representative said.
