Online retailers in the U.K. saw April sales rise 16%, and online-only merchants booked a 20% jump during the month, according to a report from Capgemini and Interactive Media in Retail Group. "With the holiday period [Easter] falling at the start of April and warm weather following in the second half, we have seen uplifts in holidays, home and garden, alcohol and apparel driving the index," Capgemini VP Chris Webster said.
