A six-member delegation of representatives from the U.S. business community was in Qatar seeking franchise partners this week, the final stop on a four-nation tour that also included Abu Dhabi and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Jordan. "Our goal at IFA and Franchise Times is to help educate our membership and the franchise community at large in the United States about the opportunities in the Middle East, particularly in Qatar," said Scott Lehr, the IFA's senior vice president of U.S. and international development. "We look forward to bringing more brands to the Qatari market to work with the local partners."
