Domestic ethanol output rose to 857,000 barrels per day last week, up 1.7% from the week before and the highest in two weeks, according to the Energy Information Administration. Supplies of the biofuel dropped for the third straight week to 16.4 million barrels, the least since Dec. 3, 2010, the EIA said. Ethanol blends accounted for 95% of the U.S. gasoline supply, down from a record 97% the week before, the EIA stated.
