American consumers watched almost 41 billion online videos in May, including 15.8 billion video advertisements, according to a report from comScore. Google scooped up the lion's share of unique video viewers, with 154.5 million, followed by Facebook with 60.4 million and AOL with 53.8 million. Video ads overall were seen by just over half of the population, with the average video viewer watching video ads on 96 occasions during the month.
